As a  tecchnician at Micron Technology Inc. in Manassas, VA, you will support processes and equipment used in the Fab 6.  You will perform preventive maintenance, appropriate repairs, and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to determine the source of problems in non-functioning equipment. You will use test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment debug and calibration. You will perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers, running process experiments, and summarizing results using various data analysis tools.  You will monitor SPC charts and react appropriately to out of spec conditions, create Quality Deviation Reports and Engineering Change Notices as required.  You will be responsible for creating and updating operation, reaction procedures, and specifications either on their own or as part of a team.  You must be aware of all process and equipment related changes affecting the implant area.

 

 

Successful candidates in this position will have: 

    - Minimun two years of previous hands on experience in semiconductor FAB

    - Technical hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience with electromechanical systems related to semiconductor manufacturing

    - The ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals, and engineering sketches.

    - The ability to utilize complicated drawings and specifications, advanced mathematics, and a variety of precision measuring instruments.

    - The willingness to work any shift including periodic rotations.

  

Education:

 - AAS degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical background, such as military training or previous Fab experience.

- Minimum 24 months of experience in semiconductor technician role in CVD, dry etch, diffusion, or wets
