You will become a part of Micron’s University Relations team and help us develop an outstanding college recruiting program in the USA with the focus on attracting diverse candidates to Micron. In this role, you will have plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your creativity, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to quickly identify top talent. You will be responsible for attracting and recruiting outstanding diverse student candidates into various roles across the company.


This is a high visibility position for a results-oriented, creative, and outgoing teammate who embraces a good challenge and multiple priorities and who is not fazed by public speaking. You will get to change the lives of many students by introducing them to our amazing company.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Build on Micron’s dedication to diversity, equality, and inclusion to source and attract University students from under-represented groups
  • Identify, design, and execute student engagement opportunities at various Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs)
  • Develop relations with diversity student organizations at other universities Micron targets for recruiting
  • Manage end to end recruiting process for technical and non-technical diverse university candidates ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Work with various internal University Relations partners to develop, implement, and execute campus strategy
  • Serve as a "campus owner" for several HBCUs and HSIs
  • Cultivate relationships with university staff, faculty, and student group leaders at targeted universities
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates
  • Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers
  • Maintain data reports and performance metrics on a regular basis
  • Manage the candidate workflow and communication with university candidates




  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience with focus on diversity hiring
  • 1+ years of event management or facilitation experience
  • Consultative qualities and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization as well as externally.
  • Industry knowledge, with ability to understand relevant technical skills, target engineering schools, conferences, and other student communities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically, up to 30%, during peak recruiting cycles



Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in recruiting university candidates (internship and full time)
