As a Hardware Design Engineering Intern at Micron, you will assist in the design & verification of solid state drives that are in current development stages. This position will involve the utilization of verification/validation test equipment to characterize and debug hardware circuits. Other areas of responsibility will include test and hardware failure analysis, or the implementation of new component qualifications.

 

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Good understanding of logical and physical design (schematic and layout).

  • Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, multi-meters and other lab equipment.

  • Understanding of NAND, DRAM and NOR memory operation.

  • Understanding of switching power supply functionality.

  • Ability to analyze problems, diagnose root cause and apply corrective actions.

  • Good communication, documentation, problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

  • Very good English (both written and verbal).

  • The ability to work and maintain professional relationships with fellow employees.

 

Education:

  • Minimum of sophomore status in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
