Overview

As a Marketing Programs Assistant at Micron, your responsibilities will include executing channel marketing strategies to drive profitable growth for our direct and indirect b2b and b2c business. You will be responsible for executing and managing marketing programs with our customers, optimising marketing spend and ensuring maximum return on investment, as well as adherence to company goals and guidelines. You will take the lead on APAC projects that deliver new tools and resources for our customers, working relentlessly to ensure we deliver on our brand pillars, notably being easy to do business with. You will work closely with our sales department, educating them on best-practice marketing and identifying areas of opportunity within the key accounts/region you work with.

 

Job Responsibilities

Manage marketing relationships with assigned customers to ensure maximum presence through their marketing reach:

  • Review all types of customer marketing and competitor positioning within their advertising and communications
  • Determine creative and collateral needs of our key customers to ensure we meet or beat our competition
  • Propose optimum placement of our products within customer marketing, utilising online and offline metrics to determine the best mix of marketing exposure against spend
  • Analyse all marketing exposure during and post campaign to refine marketing spend and advise sales on best-practice by account and product type

Communicate product news and promotions to partners, providing detailed metrics and reporting:

  • You will take the lead on coordination with the product marketing and communications teams to get relevant copy and images to create e-shots and campaigns to strategic accounts

Collaborate with Marketing Dept. Manager and regional sales managers to plan customer marketing funds, providing guidance and best practice examples that will deliver maximum E2R:

  • Propose regional account needs to creative team, ensuring collateral requirements driven by MDF spend are met through central creative team, or budget is allowed for creation via local agencies

Maintain key customer audits:

  • Responsible for monthly audits being conducted on our key etail customers in APAC
  • Provide regular management report on quality of execution online at our partners, providing feedback on improvements required at customer level, and in asset deliverables from HQ
  • Communicate improvements highlighted from audits to customers and to regional marketing managers, reporting on their execution of asset implementation to your manager

Manage tracking of Central marketing budget and provide monthly reporting of usage to APAC marketing manager:

  • Maintain quarterly budget tracker, capturing spend by type and brand
  • Measure marketing execution against quarterly plans provided by APAC marketing manager

Manage all aspects of events execution within APAC:

  • Take lead on project management of CPG events - central and at customer level, ensuring our presence aligns to corporate goals and to our brand identities
  • Maintain events collateral, ensuring we deliver relevant and high-quality materials to the sales team and our customers
  • Coordinate all events shipments, storage and branded items across APAC

Oversee local PR efforts

  • Manage external PR agency
  • Work with Regional Marketing Manager and global PR manager to ensure local PR agency executes Scope of Work priorities
  • Localise global PR communications and deliver them locally through our PR agency
  • Execute Media Promotions
  • Manage Journalist review program
  • Manage local Industry and Media events

Key Requirements

  • 2-3 years of marketing experience in a similar role including B2B.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative and Adobe Indesign
  • Prior design experience with communication content, such as flyers and email campaigns
  • Passion for creation and design
  • Experience in event management
  • English + Local language
  •
