eCommerce Business Lead (EMEA) - Micron Consumer Products Group

 

Micron Consumer Products Group (CPG) is looking for an eCommerce Business Lead (EMEA) to join our team in India. You will be part of a dynamic team and a liaison between key business stakeholders and the development team. This role will contribute to the success of our applications, including over 15 Web Sites, Portals, Digital, Assets Management and other services.

 

You will work closely with Business owner in US and play a key role in developing programs to grow overall site revenue, through the creation of strategies for cross-sell, up-sell, conversion, and retention, mainly focused on the fie EMEA sites (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain). As part of the role you will need to Analyze traffic and customer behavior to inform digital marketing strategy and prioritize initiatives which increase conversion, improve customer experience, and drive sales Plan and execute promotions, identifying products for promotion. You need to have a thorough understanding of customer needs, both existing and potential, to improve purchase experience and increase customer conversion. The responsibility to grow the e-commerce business will be a key responsibility of this role. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Be responsible for EMEA web site (e-commerce) and content sites (seven) in Asia.
  • Drive the growth of revenue for e-commerce site and CSAT for non e-commerce i.e. content sites.
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders and the software development team to drive and be a stakeholder for the web projects.
  • Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization's Agile project lifecycle.
  • Manage the web experience and work in a cross functional team to streamline the operational, reporting and analytics, site optimization, A/B testing, campaign planning and implementation, team management and digital commerce across desktop, mobile.
  • Lead or participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint demos.
  • Coordinate with product managers to triage, prioritize feature requests, bugs/defects, and other development items
  • Breaks down complex requirements into User Stories written from a business perspective that can be coded and tested in short iteration.

 

 

 

Required education, experience and skills:

 

  • Three plus years of experience years of experience with B2C eCommerce websites 
  • Fluency in web analytics, eCommerce platforms, tag management, conversion funnels, and A/B testing 
  • Knowledge of eCommerce business models, specifically how to drive eCommerce sales through innovative, effective and cost-efficient merchandising programs and strategies 
  • Experience with e-commerce applications in a B2C environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal, collaboration and motivational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with eCommerce systems; preferably Digital River 
  • Knowledge of the digital ecosystem and how eCommerce, web, mobile, social, search and channels work together to optimize behavior and acquisition 
  • Proficiency with web analytics systems, preferably Adobe Analytics 
  • Experience with website tagging systems, such as Google Tag Manager or Adobe Launch 
  • MBA preferred
