Scrum Master - Micron Consumer Products Group

Micron Consumer Products Group (CPG) is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in India. You will be part of a dynamic team and collaborate with Product Owners and Development Teams to achieve sprint commitments. This role will contribute to the success of our applications, including over 15 Web Sites, Portals, Digital Assets Management and other services.

You will work closely with Product Owners and Development teams to lead daily scrums, enforce scrum rules and sprint retrospectives and with Business Analyst and project Stakeholder to groom/prioritize tickets.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead scrum teams in using Agile methodology and scrum practices based on Agile framework.
  • Help the product owner and development team to manage sprint velocity and achieve sprint goals.
  • Lead the teams to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity and self-organization.
  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments.
  • Lead sprint grooming and retrospective meetings.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur.
  • Support the product owners.
  • Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization's Agile project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with product owners to prioritise, prioritize feature requests, bugs/defects, and other development items.
  • Collaborate with testers (i.e. functional, independent validation and verification, and user acceptance testers) to ensure requirements are understood and to acquire testing outcomes
  • Help with projects if needed.

Required education, experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field.
  • First level Scrum Master certification required; second level preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused.
  • Must have implemented Scrum concepts and principles within a larger agile delivery system
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, systems thinking, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and growing transparency.
  • Knowledge of numerous well detailed development patterns and techniques.
  • Experience with and knowledge of the software and/or hardware development life cycle.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • JIRA experience a Plus.
