PRINCIPAL SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER

As a Principal Supply Chain Engineer, you will drive Micron’s business strategies with process, data and planning systems. You will be responsible for driving execution of processes to elevate performance of key focus areas in Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

You will drive process re-design, analysis and alignment of processes that deliver business value to Micron and its customers. In this role, you identify gaps in current process, review potential solutions through industry and internal benchmarks with business partners, define relevant system requirements and co-ordinate with IT domain specialists to bring the right solution to business. You adopt and drive standard methodologies across Supply Chain focus areas, execution of goals and achieve stretch targets for critical metrics.

This role calls for designing and improving current systems in consultation with partners. You drive the system process and logic, lead interactions and impact to current systems. You work with the detail on the design, data requirements and support developers during the development phase. You inject human elements within the design like screen UI for efficiency taking into consideration the multi-cultural teams that form the user group. You will validate the solution before releasing to partners. Discussing and presenting potential impacts with partners and getting a consensus is your responsibility.

Metrics drive the organization and you are tasked to improve the current metrics for ground-breaking change. You are frequently called upon to research internal and external information/data and communicate it to partners with your recommendation.

You will execute projects in response to business needs and opportunities. You will define projects, scope, timelines, and encouraged to recruit team members from multi-functional teams. You will Supervise or report on project status to partners. You evaluate testing results and work with Information Systems to make adjustments to systems as needed. You will support implementation, including training and lead all aspects of project closure.

You use your expertise on current processes and systems to act as a consultant to partners and customers. You are on the lookout for industry leading benchmarks to elevate the performance of Supply chain.

Education: Masters in Industrial engineering/business administration.

Experience: 10+ years Blue Yonder JDA and 10+ Semiconductor relevant experience

Location: Hyderabad
