IT - Robotic Process Automation (UIPath) Support Engineer

Job Description 

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Support Engineer will provide support for RPA (UIPath) related activities in Micron. You will diagnose and troubleshoot issues relating to RPA platforms, and help in the change, release and upgrade management of RPA platforms. Ensure that we provide the right solutions for our customers and that they are satisfied. Join the on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support and take necessary step to provide the resolution and follow our SLA.  

 

Job Responsibilities
•    Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, troubleshooting and any process change activities relating to Robotic Process Automation Platforms.
•    Ensure a healthy automation pipelines, while leading the operation management of the virtual workforce
•    Liaise closely with RPA developers and Support groups to resolve problems.
•    Setup, configure, monitor and maintain the RPA environments
•    License management in allocation of required licenses to the various tenants.
•    Perform minor enhancements and fixes for consulted pipeline issues.
•    Communicates clearly, both written and verbally with internal and external business partners
•    Escalates issues and risk to management where appropriate

 

Detailed Job Responsibilities

•    Liaise closely with RPA developers and Support groups to resolve problems. 
o    Function as a Level 2 support for UiPath RPA Solution. 
o    Escalates issues and risk to management where appropriate
•    Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, troubleshooting and any process change activities relating to Robotic Process Automation Platforms.
•    Ensure a healthy automation pipelines, while leading the operation management of the virtual workforce. 
o    This include monitoring of transaction levels such RPA solution does not impact production system.
o    Monitoring of loading on Web APIs by UiPath RPA solution
o    Monitoring of loading on Databases by UiPath RPA Solution
•    As a point of contact, a consultant, to suggest solution to UiPath RPA developers on roadblocks met by the developers.
•    Perform minor enhancements and fixes for consulted pipeline issues.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields or equivalent experiences
  • Development experience of at least one of the programming tools/languages (e.g. C, Web, .Net, VB, Python, HTML5 and SQL)
  • Experience in Robotic Process Automation on RPA Platform, UiPath.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Bring in your enthusiasm as you will work with a dynamic team to achieve a common goal through effective collaboration and dedication.
  • Highly adaptable to our fast paced, dynamic and rapidly changing work environment; Response and solve high priority Manufacturing Software Applications problems, as required.
  • We are looking for a highly motivated team member with good software project management skill and having an exposure to agile development methodology will be advantageous

Not required and is desirable 

  • Windows Administration 

  • Experience with VMware/PowerCLI 

  • Experience with networking/DNS 

  • Experience with SMTP 

  • Asynchronous programming 

  • Good knowledge on ITIL/ITSM. 

  • Supporting Blueprism RPA
