This position will play a key role in supporting Micron’s efforts to embrace an enterprise business process approach. We will own integrating business process improvement programs, ensuring they meet targets on time and on budget by growing employee adoption and usage such that business results are achieved. In this role, focus will be from people's perspective – including changes to business processes, job roles, systems and technologies and organization structures as they relate to the work of the Business Planning and Process Management (BPPM) organization.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change caused by projects and change efforts
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans (including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, mentoring plan, training plan and resistance management plan)
  • Work closely with sponsors and project teams to integrate changes and strategy into the project plan and support the execution of plans by employee- facing managers and business leaders.
  • Conduct change assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Build and run measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.
  • Establish tools, coach others, participate and lead enterprise change management activities.
  • Enthusiastically coach senior leaders including executive sponsors.
  • Consult and coach program managers and teams on strategies to increase adoption, and craft standards of what type of change management tools work best in various situations.
  • Continuously develop your own change management skills through books, classes and articles.
  • Provide resources and training to others to increase change management efficiency throughout team.

  • Develop a process for quick integration of creative ideas into the programs.
  • Develop balanced teams, integrate recognition into regular tasks, and acknowledge and reward risk taking into the team norms.


  • Show a deep understanding of how people go through a change and the change process, and know how to source, develop and apply standard change management methods, tools, and frameworks
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and articulate messages to a variety of audiences both vertically and horizontally
  • You can positively influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • You have the proven ability to lead with integrity, to take difficult stands, and to facilitate effective decision-making in difficult situations
  • Flexible and adaptable are terms that describe you; you’re able to work in ambiguous situations and determine a path forward
  • Have the ability to recognize and convey in-depth knowledge of the interdependencies and impact across organizational boundaries
  • Have familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle


8+ years running significant and complex, cross functional enterprise level process and technology organizational change efforts in the high-tech industry



Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Business Administration/Management, Organizational Management/Behavior, Industrial Psychology, related field with significant program/project management experience


  • Master’s degree
  • Formal certification in change management methodology highly preferred
    • Change Management Professional (CCMP)
    • Change Management Specialist (CMS)
    • Prosci Change Management Certification
    • Problem and Change Manager (CPCM)
