Job Description

Micron Technology is aiming to implement a modern and efficient PC LifeCycle program to guarantee adequate tools to its team members for the success of the company.

 

As PC LifeCycle Business Analyst you will be part of a new corporate team set to define and implement a comprehensive program for Computer/Mobile/Display adherence to the Micron Refresh policy. The responsibilities of the position will drive the program creation and yearly maintenance/update throughout its implementation at every company site worldwide.

 

The activity will require great coordination and relationship skills to guide all phases of the process, removing roadblocks and maintaining an awareness of all aspects of the program to ensure its success. As part of this team you will be required to maintain high level relations with multiple peers at Corporate Procurement, End User Engineering, Business Units and all Sites local leads/IT Field Technicians.

Precision, commitment and great reporting skills are key for the role. We expect to work with resources focused and not intimidated by challenges, aiming to improve the quality of the service and identified solutions.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Implement and maintain a global PC LifeCycle program for all WW Micron Business Units
  • Collaborate with PC LifeCycle Team and End User Engineering Lead on each aspect of the activity
  • Coordinate with Department Business Partners all Computer Refresh process
  • Verify solidity of the data and work to fix any eventual gaps in the refresh program
  • Lead and Facilitate with Procurement Department and Sites all WW BU Clients orders with designed tools (i.e Ariba, Remedy)
  • Plan and Coordinate with each sites local leads and Field Services team to guide computer installations and migration of users to the new HW.
  • Cooperate with Field Services and manage Installations leveraging the Remedy ticketing system
  • Maintain detailed Reporting over Program progress, current status and BU/Global spending
  • Manage PC LifeCycle websites and Dashboards
  • Maintain up to date Corporate Computer Shop in collaboration with Procurement Department and I&O Lead
  • Maintain actual Fleet Database (CMDB, SCCM, Asset Management) to reflect Refresh Policy
  • Provide that PC LifeCycle Technology Refresh program is updated, precise and solid
  • Constantly aim to improve process efficiency and tools
  • Support Business Units with reports, follow ups and status updates, ensuring progress is made
  • Communicate with each Final User to validate HW selection, planning installations and facilitating the process
  • Take care to provide Operations Support at Helpdesk level to fix process issues or follow up on status

 

 

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent/higher experience

  • IT Industrial engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems Management
  • Business Information Systems
  • Related field of study

 

Experience

Required, 3 years’ experience in any of the following:

  • Managing PC Tech Refresh at Corporate Level Clients/Servers
  • Working as IT Clients Installation and Planning coordinator
  • Working on Managing worldwide computers orders & installations
  • Creating complex Assets Refresh Program and maintaining it   
  • Working on improving Corporate process & tools for Central Ordering

Desired

  • Experience as remote Field Services engineer/Helpdesk
  • Worked on integrated SharePoint/Remedy/Ariba platform for order management
  • Managed advanced CMDB/Asset Management or SCCM HW Database
  • Working with teams in multiple time-zones, multi-national interaction

Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite. In particular
    • Great competence with MS Excel, SharePoint
  • Competence in SCCM/AD preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Remedy (preferred) or similar ticketing system
  • In a similar capacity; supporting Helpdesk/Field services in a related environment
  • Information Systems/Technology worldwide company or department
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, while working within a fast-paced environment
  • Superb English spoken and written is a must
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Ability to communicate technical details in a non-technical manner
  • Ariba knowledge is a beneficial plus
  • Macs IO knowledge is a plus
