Job Description

As an Enterprise Business Systems Facilities Scrum Master at Micron Technology Inc., you are responsible for duties related to supporting successful Agile teams. As a Scrum Master, you will be an advocate for the Scrum team to live by the values and practices of Scrum, DevOps, and other Agile practices. You are accountable for working with the technical teams and product teams to deliver capabilities that support business objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will partner with the team to deliver value, assist Scrum team in clearing impediments to meet their Sprint commitments, provide process coaching, and help the team to meet their delivery and continuous improvement goals. You will also work with Product Owners, other Scrum Masters, Project Managers and IT leads to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the backlog as well as help the team interact and collaborate successfully with other teams in their Value Stream.


Responsibilities and Tasks

Scrum Master

  • Partner with Product Owners to understand key business objectives and strategy, develop backlog and prioritize their stories.
  • Coordinate and/or facilitate story mapping, sprint/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, remove roadblocks, reviews, retrospectives and demos.
  • Track progress of team performance utilizing appropriate metrics and foster adoption of a high performing Agile culture working closely with the organizations Agile leadership.
  • Stand up new Agile teams and facilitate their formation and effectiveness.
  • Long-term facilitate the adoption of ALM into the team’s daily routine.




Required Bachelor’s Degree:

  • Preferred: Business Information Systems / Information Technology, Business
  • Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study


  • 5 years of active Agile practitioner (Scrum Master, Kanban/Scrum ban, Scum of Scrum) maturity development and transformation catalyst working in an Agile environment.
  • 5 years working in a cross functional setting with off-shore and on-shore resources.
  • 5 years facilitation, consensus building, conflict resolution, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Optional: 2 years driving ALM adoption.
  • Optional: 2 years of SAP experience.
