As a Documentation and eLearning Specialist on an IT Training Team dedicated to specific business areas, your primary responsibility is to create and publish high-quality and easily consumable learning assets in support of the program’s various training initiatives.  Such assets include instructional articles, microlearning, videos, eLearning, and interactive demos or simulations.  In this role, you are also responsible to assist in curation and maintenance of the knowledge base that houses these learning assets.

You will collaborate regularly with Instructional Designers, Project Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and the Training Team Lead to ensure deliverables are aligned with project requirements and training program strategy.  Our training team is highly cohesive. We support one another, key off each other’s complementary skills, revel in our successes, and embrace opportunities for improvement together as a team.

This position is being offered in Hyderabad, India

Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Create and publish instructional content in form of training articles, microlearning, and mini-videos
  • Create and publish self-paced learning content in form of eLearning, simulations, and self-guided courses
  • Update and manage iterative improvements of all learning assets under direction of project teams & Training Lead
  • Maintain SharePoint Online and Document Repository in accordance with team standards
  • Collaborate and participate in project team ceremonies, training team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and retrospectives.

    • Knowledge Management Systems (Doc Repositories)
  • Above average skills in:
    • Video Production
    • Clear and Concise Communication
    • Working in an Agile Project Management Framework
    • Conveying technical concepts and info effectively to varying audience types
    • Aptitude for learning systems & conveying complex information to others
  • Competent skills in:
    • Effective project management and time management
    • Teamwork and collaboration
    • Self-motivation and ability to independently produce

Qualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a Training or Technical Documentation role
  • Bachelors in Adult Education, Communication, Business Administration, or related field
  • Deep knowledge of (Preferred):
    • SharePoint Online
    • O365 suite
    • HTML / CSS
    • Application Web Hosting (eLearning Outputs in HTML5)
  • Strong experience in (Required):
    • Instructional (Technical) Writing
    • eLearning Production Tools (e.g. Captivate)
    • Video Production Tools (e.g. Camtasia)
    • Adult Learning Theory
    • MicroLearning principles
