Design Verification Manager

 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

As a Design Verification Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for logic design verification of Micron’s non-volatile memory designs, including advanced 3D NAND and other emerging technologies.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, managing and developing a team of digital design verification engineers by applying talent development and people management skills to create a motivated high-performance team.
  • Being a technical expert in overseeing a team that specializes in state-of-the-art digital simulation and static verification techniques, including: Constrained-random stimulus, auto-checking regressions, RTL code coverage, and functional coverage.
  • Understanding the device and system-level requirements, creating test benches that measure parametric performance and prove functional correctness, all to achieve a product that fully meets all requirements.
  • Finding cost-effective and innovative verification and automation techniques and driving the team to implement them on new devices.
  • Developing and maintaining a network with other design and verification engineers to facilitate IP re-use, improve tools and automation, and share best practices.
  • Reviewing and creating test plans
  • Full-chip functional verification on Micron’s non-volatile memory design projects
  • TestBench Development in SystemVerilog targeting complete functionality coverage
  • Support of SystemVerilog assertion and coverage-driven methodology
  • Support of design verification methodology enhancements

 

Successful candidate for this position will have:

 

  • MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Leadership skills demonstrated as a part of the design team
  • Experience in verification of non-volatile memory products containing analog circuits and digital logic is a strong plus
  • 10+ years of experience developing verification collateral in Verilog, System Verilog and UVM
  • UVM Fluency is a must
  • Must have prior work experience with complex coverage driven random constraint UVM environments
  • Must have put together complex UVM environments from scratch
  • Strong background in digital logic, chip architecture, SystemVerilog, randomization, and excellent communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated team player with the ability to collaborate with international and cross-functional teams
  • Good knowledge of digital logic and circuit design
  • Good knowledge of Verilog RTL coding
  • Good knowledge of logic verification methodology
  • Good knowledge of programming language such as C++
  • Good knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL and PERL
