Some of the major drawings are: circuit board layouts for semiconductor memory devices, electrical wire connection diagrams, and Memory device package outline drawings. You will be required to follow design rules and industry drafting standards to maintain global consistency

and accuracy of design drawings.

Other CAD Technician job responsibilities include working with package designers to perform design feasibility studies; communicating with customers to understand and implement drafting requirements; and provide written

documentation of

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Create drawings for the IC Packages using CAD software (Preferably Auto CAD)
• Create and Modify Bond Diagrams, Package Outline Drawings, Mark Template drawing, Lid drawing, Stiffener drawing, Interposer Drawings, and Wire Bond Diagrams &Other Manufacturing drawing is the added advantage.
• Review NPN instructions and data links
• Review design guidelines related to the package application
• Review ADR (Assembly Design Request) information

• Perform route studies

• Layout design with optimal trace routing
• Review drawing quality

• Perform peer check with standard drawing checklist

• Document design rule violations
• Understand counterpart requirements and should be able manage individually by strong oral and written skills

• Review finished design with all interested parties

Education Required:

• Required: BS in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Preferred: 2 to 4 years of experience in Auto CAD Design Engineering, Design Drafting and manufacturing Drawing Generation or CAD operations
