As a Senior Analog Design Engineer for Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for definition and implementation of analog and mixed signal circuits for high-quality design delivery of next generation Emerging Memory chips.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:


  • Design of CMOS analog and mixed-signal circuits
  • Architecture, analysis and implementation of memory biasing schemes
  • Incorporate reliability tool flows into pre-silicon simulation phase and resolve issues such as aging, SOA (Safe operating area) and electro-migration
  • Work with Layout teams to create floorplan, transistor placement and signal routing
  • Work closely with other design team members during all phases of design, from concept to production
  • Interface with groups such as product engineering and test to assure the best cost, quality and time-to-market.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • BA or BS with 5 years’ experience or a MS with 3 years of industrial experience with Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 3 years of design experience in the related areas below:
    • Experience in the design of CMOS analog and mixed-signal circuits like amplifiers, oscillators, bandgap references, temperature sensors, regulators, charge-pumps, etc.
    • Experience with transistor level circuit simulation tools like SPICE and Fast SPICE
    • Experience in transistor and interconnect layout methods including matching
    • Experience with design environments like Cadence Virtuoso
    • Experience in DRC, LVS, antenna checks and post-layout extraction tools
  • Exposure to digital circuit design
  • Familiarity with Verilog modeling of circuit behavior, Verilog/logic simulations and scripting languages desirable

  • The ability to be highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined
  • The ability to work with other engineers across multiple disciplines and geographies
