Passionate about sales? Join Micron's Sales team as our Regional Sales Manager - Automotive! Responsible for selling Micron’s entire product portfolio to a wide range of corporate customers. Responsible for increasing market share with each customer, ensuring we are maximizing new design in opportunities, working to drive the best relationship with the customer at all levels with the appropriate level of Micron team members, hitting quarterly sales plan, and ensuring the most accurate demand picture from each customer base so that manufacturing can build appropriately to their requested demand.


Responsibilities and Tasks:


  • Manage customer relationships to establish broad and deep relationships at targeted customers
  • Develop and manage new design activity to achieve account goals
  • Negotiate pricing; T and C specific to the customer and coordinate forecast; manage backlog, allocation; provide overall customer supply chain support
  • Attain quarterly sales objectives; optimize GM; sell the right products; maximize TAM share
  • Identify customer technical/business ops/support programs to align internal resources required to support TAM, revenue, and GM targets
  • Motivate and drive manufacturer’s rep to meet or exceed quarterly sales goals and objectives (RSMs/AMs with territories/reps)
  • Evaluate manufacturer’s rep valued-added service relative to their cost of sales. (RSMs/AMs with territories/reps)
  • Track business/design opportunities on SFDC
  • Enter/Maintain MPN Forecast
  • May or may not manage direct reports
  • Provide forecasting through the APO-DP tool; provide input for system enhancements
  • Identify customer allocations/support programs to align internal resources required to support TAM, revenue and GM targets
  • Manage assigned corporate distributors and develop distribution channels within a geographic territory
  • Support the business unit strategies
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • May be assigned specific accounts or regions
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies with distribution partners
  • Provide internal communication of distribution capabilities and strategies across all Micron BU and sales teams


  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in semiconductors, ideally memory.
  • Experience working with manufacturer representatives and distributors in the semiconductor space.
  • Experience handling automotive OEM, tier one and tier two automotive accounts and knowledge of automotive supply chain requirements a big plus
  • Strong relationship building and clear communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
