Sales Manager

As a Senior Sales Manager at Micron you will have total ownership and accountability for general business management and development activities specific to the Italian and Iberian indirect accounts in the territory. Sales ownership is encouraged throughout the entire sales process.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage a set of existing and new indirect accounts within Italy, Spain, and Portugal. These will be a mix of SI’s, VARS, Corporate resellers, Etail and retail accounts
  • Identify accounts Tam and share
  • Define and implement plans to grow share in account base across Micron’s portfolio of products
  • Partner with your associated distribution sales manager for sell in /sell out optimized execution to support your accounts
  • Forecast your 6 months rolling business for your list of accounts through Micron portfolio
  • Work with channel marketing to develop programs within territory
  • Train indirect accounts across existing and new product lines
  • Utilize effective presentation and command skills within customer and internal meetings
  • Be consistently customer facing
  • Proactively take ownership for follow up on meetings
  • Analyze business to identify areas of strong performance and those needing improvement

 

Education:

  • BSA required, MBA highly desirable
  • Marketing
  • Business Administration/Management
  • Related field of study

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of the IT market in Iberia and Italy
  • Customer focused mentality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Energetic teammate with ethos of high performance
  • Flexible with ability to adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment
  • Ability to manage own time and multi-task combined with strong organizational skills
  • Proactive, driven, smart, and willing to learn with a desire to succeed
  • Languages: Spanish and Italian required, Proficiency in English
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel), ERP/CRM system or similar (SAP, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Model N); a technical aptitude to learn software tools is required
  • Frequent travelling required to events, training and customer visits
  • Ability to represent the company in a highly professional manner both over the phone and face-to-face
