Worldwide Sales and Channel Communications Lead

As part of the Global Communications and Marketing (GCM) Content Marketing team, the Worldwide Sales and Channel Communications Lead will play a key role in building impactful communications programs that support our worldwide sales and channel initiatives. This strategic role is responsible for building a communications strategy that connects our sales and channel activities to broader company-wide story narratives, aligned to Micron’s content strategy and business objectives. Additionally, the role will help build presentations and develop messaging in support of our sales organization, helping amplify their initiatives and storytelling through a variety of communications channels in partnership with the broader Micron communications team and the sales enablement team.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Partner with Micron sales organization to develop a communication strategy and plan that:


  • Integrates communication across all external influencers, internal leaders, and team members
  • Supports the sales enablement team to integrate Micron corporate narrative messaging and campaign activities
  • Leads creation of customer stories that are shared both internally and externally
  • Amplifies thought leadership with sales and channel, and lining up future opportunities for Micron, while also balancing the reality of today’s business
  • Partners with worldwide sales team to ensure communication strategy aligns with business priorities and the marketing strategy/plan
  • Acts as a liaison on channel task force to rest of Micron Global Communications and Marketing (GCM) team (strategy and execution, workflows, processes)
  • Contributes to cross-Micron communication strategy


Education requirement:

  • MBA, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related fields.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ experience in Global Corporate Communication or related marketing functions
  • Marketing and/or communication subject areas – Proven success in the development of communication strategy or content marketing and execution of new product launches, industry and/or commercial IT channel partnerships, business initiatives, etc.
  • Self-starter with ability to think strategically and deploy tactically, able to “connect the dots” across the business
  • Proven ability to influence professionals and senior leaders (including BU GMs) and to navigate sophisticated and political landscapes
  • A proven ability to partner with global leaders and other functions in a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong desire to drive improvement and not settle for status quo
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A background in project and program management
  • Strong results-oriented approach
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with sales team and knowledge of IT and Semiconductor Industry is a plus
