The Awesome Position

As a SIG E2E Planner (System Integration Group End-To-End Planner) at Micron Technology Inc., you will be responsible for planning a variety of SIG products for numerous assembly, test, and module assemblies at external manufacturing sites. You will work closely with the Front-End and Back-End Central Planning and Engineering organizations. This position requires that you collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing SIG equipment demands and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements, which result in a supply response to SIG customers (e.g. Front-End/Back-End Central Planning teams)

Demand/Supply (NPI, MICAP/OCAP)

  • Watch and lead official supply response via interlock meetings
  • Lead Tactical Demand Changes – Pull-in requests, push-out requests, off cycle changes in alignment with FE/BE Central Planning.
  • Attain prioritization signal where applicable from Central Planning to align dedication. (e.g. materials & build constraints)
  • Partner with internal manufacturing to build, plan, prioritize, and schedule
  • Backlog alignment with Change Management weekly dedications

Customer Facing Communication

  • Need to ensure appropriate communication to/from customers
  • Respond to customer questions about product
  • Clarify demand signals from all inputs (MICAP, OCAP, RFQ, direct e-mail, engineering, etc.…)
  • Respond to pull-in and push-out change requests

Program Management

  • Partner with SIG Product Teams regarding NPI to HVM product ramp schedules, conversions, upgrades, modifications, etc.
  • Work with PMO and product managers to communicate & publish conversion plans for each significant build type (tool transition planning)
  • Identify process improvement projects related to demand management and supply related topics

Contract Manufacturing Planning

  • Define, monitor, and report to SIG management team on Change Management manufacturing performance metrics (OTD, OFLT, Safety Stock, etc.)
  • Update appropriate SIG teams on ongoing improvements, issues, challenges, achievements
  • Submit Purchase orders to Procurement for Contract Manufacturing orders
  • Understand capacity constraints affecting dedications

Primary Objectives

  • Tester delivery schedule reporting and alignment (SIG and Central Teams) with the business requirements
  • Tester component supply transparency (Inventory) - against targets
  • Define key component shortages and buffer strategy (strategic materials)
  • End-To-End robust supply chain setup. With Metrics for OTD and OFLT
