Supply Chain Business Process Analyst

As a Supply Chain (SC) Business Process Analyst (BPA) at Micron Technology, you will collaborate with process sponsors, owners, stewards, and partners of the Integrated Operational Plans Process to execute, manage, and improve the process and its underlying activities to support Micron and Supply Chain strategic initiatives resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness.


A major area of focus for this role will be to develop and implement processes and procedures for complex, Micron-wide business planning analyses and decisions. The BPA will assist the process owners to form appropriate process metrics and develop performance gap solutions through problem solving initiatives.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex business processes and/or plans, perform and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Promote a process driven organization and drive positive change through process discipline, alignment, and governance
  • As the process subject matter expert, support projects and project managers in all phases of projects
  • Develop strategic process solutions through collaboration with partners
  • Mentor and instruct others on process methodology and best known methods
  • Utilize proven methodologies to assess process disconnects and continuously improve
  • Identify and assess process, organizational structure, and business strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with peer groups across Micron and the Supply Chain, maintaining alignment on best known methods and coordination between initiatives
  • Propose and implement methods to monitor and measure the health and effectiveness of existing business processes and to measure the effectiveness of business process improvements
  • Challenge assumptions to develop sustainable and scalable process solutions
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional forums, meetings, and activities that drive engagement and alignment across the process partner teams


Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. or B.B.A. in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Operations Management (POM), or equivalent of study
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with individuals at varying levels within and outside the organization



  • M.B.A./M.S. is a plus
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience or in-depth technical knowledge in any of the following areas is helpful: Business Process Improvement; Planning/Forecasting; Production Operations; Business Unit Operations; Supply Chain; Program/Project Management
