As a Sr. Financial Analyst, Corporate G&A at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be the Finance business partner supporting General and Administrative functional areas. You will support senior leadership of G&A functions with business planning & analysis, decision making support and other ad hoc reporting. You will be responsible for communicating corporate priorities & objectives and working with business partners to meet those commitments. Finance business partners are key liaisons between the functional areas they support and senior Finance leadership, as well as other areas of Finance, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Accounting and Business Unit (BU) teams. You will be part of, and have significant exposure to, a broad team whose responsibilities extend to supporting research and development (R&D) functions including Technology Development, Product Engineering and new product introduction.


Responsibilities and Tasks


Provide Finance business partner support to Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Services, Executive, and various other G&A functions:

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop inputs into quarterly business plans and drive effective decision making
  • Monitor performance to plan of key metrics
  • Support other partner driven ad hoc analysis and reporting


Liaison between G&A functional leaders and Finance & other executive leadership, driving collaboration with:

  • Finance leadership for real-time SG&A expense projection updates and measurement of corporate goals & other objectives
  • Various Finance teams, notably Sales and BU Finance, supporting other SG&A functions to analyze and report in totality the SG&A functional spend
  • Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) on initiatives that have broad company impact, such as benefits and other compensation programs
  • Business Unit (BU) Finance on items of interest and impact to their respective segment P&L’s
  • Corporate Accounting on understanding expense performance to plan analysis
  • Support other Finance driven ad hoc analysis and reporting

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prefer experience in TM1 and SAP


Education & Experience

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business
  • 3-5 years minimum experience
