As a Senior Business Development Manager for the Enterprise Segment in the Compute and Networking Business Unit, you will be responsible for inbound and outbound marketing activities as well as program management. In this position, you will analyze segment and marketing data, as well as analyze, track, and develop strategies for Micron to further grow business within this segment.  You can expect to interact with internal groups to ensure the right products and support for the segment as well as externally to evaluate opportunities for new products. The Business Development Manager works directly with customers, sales teams and enablers to implement the plans to successfully grow the business from both top-line and bottom-line perspectives.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Guide Micron strategic direction to ensure Micron is the market leader at key Enterprise customers
  • Advocate segment and customer needs within Micron and create solutions to fulfill these needs
  • Set strategic direction for the Enterprise memory portfolio to enable customers
  • Develop and drive business plan strategic goals and initiatives for the segment
  • Create and maintain market models for TAM, SOM and long-term forecasting
  • Initiate and manage segment specific programs to improve customer satisfaction and business interaction, develop and own the business case
  • Work with enablers to ensure that Micron has the right portfolio and is designed into relevant platforms prior to adoption from key end customers
  • Establish strong relationships with key technical customer contacts
  • Actively contribute to product definition process of Micron
  • Create and provide documentation and training both internally as well as externally



  • 5-10 years of relevant working experience, preferably with increasing responsibility, in either business or technically-oriented roles within a technology industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering required, Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred
