As a Software Engineer for the Application Development Team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of Mobile, Web, and backend Applications. This position requires mentoring & guiding offshore teams, staying updated with Mobile App & Web technology trends, and responsible for end to end app development including automated build, deploy, and testing.



  • Experience in creating clear, concise documentation for a multi-tier architectural model and to discuss technical matters effectively with business end users.
  • Have a deep understanding of Agile and DevOps development models and experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Build and Continuous Deployment systems.
  • Apply analytical thought processes to quickly understand technical challenges discovered during the life-cycle of the initiative; learn new technology concepts swiftly and comprehensively and effectively pass those technologies and concepts down to the team’s software engineers.
  • Collaborate cross-functional & distributed teams to understand the business requirements, provide architectures and designs to business problems.
  • Develop hybrid mobile applications for iOS, Android using Ionic and Angular frameworks.
  • Develop back-end services and Web APIs in .Net .
  • Participate in and contribute to all phases of the SDLC; strong communication skills for requirement gathering and analysis are essential.
  • Develop application coding standards to facilitate code maintenance and enhancement.
  • Provide deep systems support (architecture, system analysis, programming) for the existing web applications.
  • Lead development of multi-platform solutions (Windows & Linux) including shell scripting (bash, perl, and/or Python)
  • Design great User Experience (UX) and Interfaces for custom applications.
  • Provide technical mentorship to offshore technical teams (Taiwan and India).


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of software development experience and minimum 3 years of experience in Angular framework.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with IT experience.
  • A solid understanding of object-oriented design, client-server architecture, data algorithms and relational database design/development (Microsoft SQL Server).
  • 8+ years of strong experience in one or more key solution technologies including Angular, JavaScript, C#, HTML5, Web services and APIs.
  • Experience integrating back-end business systems (ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, other SoA-exposed platforms) into web applications a plus.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and related build tools (makefile, GCC, and Visual Studio)
  • Experience with Agile development using industry standard SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with version control systems, ability to create branching strategy (GIT, SVN)
  • Experience in building cross-platform hybrid applications in a mobile development framework (ex: Ionic Enterprise and Cordova) is a plus.

B.S. degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field of study (equivalent experience considered)
