Software Development IT Manager

As an experienced Software Development Manager, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming will help team meeting the expectations, standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. Your quest to embracing leading-edge technologies and methodologies inspires your team to follow suit.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide technical leadership to drive the successful completion of development projects.
  • Work with business partners in a cross functional matrix to gain a clear understanding of requirements.
  • Act as a technology and domain authority in multiple business domains and or technical areas.
  • Recommend and implement tools associated with team-based software development.
  • Creates and approves technical design documentation.
  • Ensure scalable design implementations that focus on code, module, and component reuse and covering a larger breath of implementation needs.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years of software development experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities in order to discuss, influence, and deliver technical concepts easily and efficiently to development teams.
  • Knowledge of full systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent track record in delivering complex and cross functional projects.
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization either verbally, through email, or by attending team meetings on the status of current initiatives.
  • Ability to manage teams of developers, Testers, Business Analysts, and Integration developers.
  • Must be able to assist development teams during detail design activities to clear roadblocks and drive to an outcome.
  • Ability to help production support teams to troubleshoot production issues if needed.
  • Ability to lead using SCRUM management tools to deliver on sprint goals and commitments.
  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • Technical proficiency in the following areas:
    • Mobile Apps
    • .NET experience, .NET Core experience preferred
    • Web
    • SQL, No SQL
    • UX/interface design
    • Angular
    • Cross-platform strength
    • Functional understanding to monitor and review code of the development team. some management experience preferred.
  • Flexible and situational adaptable with a passion for learning new things
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Customer focus with strong problem solving skills
  • Outstanding organization and delivery skills
  • An ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment
