Senior Security Compliance Program Manager

The Senior Security Compliance Program Manager, leads the Global Security Organization’s compliance and assurance function and is responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving policy and compliance programs for Micron Technology. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who will be responsible for enhancing current programs as well as developing new programs aimed at improving the security and compliance posture of Micron Technology.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partners across the business (Finance, Accounting, Security, Manufacturing, IT Engineering, etc.) to track remediation of controls and security control gaps
  • Conduct assessments to provide compliance assurance to internal policies, compliance goals, and industry best practices
  • Manage Security Policy lifecycle
  • Facilitate and support external audits
  • Assist with security and enterprise risk assessments across the organization
  • Grow and establish the GRC function through collaboration with multiple teams and partnerships with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Product, and Research and Development
  • Assists in the development, revising and implementation of compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Privacy, and security policy
  • GDPR, data handling, data protection, and privacy standards.
  • Establish the direction and implementation of control framework(s) (NIST CSF, ISO27001)
  • Communicate findings with the GRC team and security stakeholders

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Great attention to detail, problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn and discover emerging and new data trends
  • Experience in technical concepts e.g., cloud computing environments: logical access control, security architecture, information security, network security, and privacy
  • 8+ years of industry experience of increasing responsibility leading risk management, compliance, security, supply chain optimization, or operations teams
  • 5+ years interacting regularly and directly with senior leaders
  • 5+ years of experience in managing multi-functional initiatives through influence versus direct management
  • Demonstrated ability to identify necessary metrics, implement data collections mechanisms, analyze data and make recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to key business partners and large training groups in-person or remotely
  • Strong ideation development skills, including business case, charter and requirements gathering/validation development experience
  • Excellent skills utilizing SharePoint, Excel (pivot tables a plus), and PowerPoint
  • Displays effective interpersonal skills such as effective listening, proper use of style and language for audience, and productive processing of information
  • Processes and synthesizes complex information in an analytical fashion and is able to communicate findings and results effectively.

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP, CISA, CISM or additional industry recognized certifications

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, management information systems, or related disciplines.
