Product Engineer - Emerging Memory Array Optimization

As a Senior Product Engineer in Emerging Memory Array Optimization, you will responsible for characterization, optimization, and pathfinding of emerging memory technology array including: cell, sense amp, and access device. You will be contributing to the strategic direction of next generation memory technology!

 

Responsibilities and Tasks include the following, but not limited to:

 

  • Characterize key components of the memory cell intrinsic performance, understand timing and voltage trims, assess benefits of circuit features, develop and validate new array algorithms, and influence the development of new features in collaboration with other PE and Design teams
  • Develop new testing and characterization methods, future circuits, and improved data analysis methodologies
  • Streamline the cell improvement effort (Read-window, performance, reliability) by analyzing data and providing direction to the Process Integration and Cell Engineers on process experiments
  • Apply cell device physics knowledge to array and sense amp operation enabling emerging technologies to meet performance and reliability requirements
  • Orchestrate array failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) efforts, including hands-on electrical failure analysis (EFA), driving multi-functional teams to address device and array deficiencies
  • Analyze array performance and support process qualification of emerging memory technologies to enable new product development and manufacturability.
  • Present data in a clear and concise format updating management and multi-functional team

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • VLSI knowledge and Cadence experience
  • CMOS process expertise
  • Advanced Semiconductor Device Physics Knowledge
  • CMOS qualification experience
  • General programming and scripting knowledge
  • Memory (DRAM, SRAM, NAND, NOR, or 3DXP) experience
  • Appetite for learning and collaborating in a team environment!

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • PhD/MS degree or equivalent foreign education in Electrical Engineering or Physics with a minimum of two years’ experience OR
  • BS degree or equivalent foreign education Electrical Engineering or Physics with a minimum of five years’ experience
