Senior Manager Industry 4.0 Business Functions

Business functions – Industry 4.0 lead

 

As an Industry 4.0 leader for business functions at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solutions, integrated across business functions from Engineering and Procurement to Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales. The team will design and apply industry-leading methodologies in AI and machine learning and automation to enhance Micron’s technology development and business processes across the company.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

You will be leading team of I4.0 Analyst, Data Scientist and Data Engineers, making an important contribution to the design, analysis, and implementation of business improvement ideas, developing AI & Data science solutions and working closely with key partners to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.

 

In this role you will have following responsibilities

 

  • Define and implement I4.0 vision across Micron business functions: BU’s, sales & marketing, Finance and HR
  • Work closely with Functional executives and leadership to identify, prioritize and implement I4.0 use cases to find opportunities and deliver financial impact in collaboration with functional leads
  • Run diagnostic to identify areas for productivity improvement across business function, define applicable tools/solution and implement initiatives to close the gap
  • Ensure successful roll out of AutoML capabilities, design and conduct trainings to ensure smooth adaptability
  • Scan all available external solutions and identify the highest impact solutions to be incorporated in Micron AI roadmap
  • Lead projects and activities that will require the coordination, support, and management of resources from global teams

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or above and at least 10 years of work experience across key business functional areas such as pricing, sales, finance, HR
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations
  • Proven experience in implementing AI solutions using statistical software (R, Python, JMP, SAS, SPSS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the capabilities, data requirements and limitations of modern data science and artificial intelligence techniques.
  • Strategically focused, impact oriented, highly organized and adaptable.
  • Experience in leading semiconductor company a plus
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively with others at all levels in an organization
