Senior Engineer, MNAND Technical Lead

As a Managed Memory Design Integration Lead Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for consolidating, leading, and verifying the project technical requirements associated with Micron's mobile solid-state storage products. You will coordinate with Business Units, ASIC, System Architecture, Product Design, FW Development, Product Validation, Characterization and Qualification teams to ensure the product meets or exceeds all technical requirements committed to at POR.

 

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Coordinating a multi-functional development team spread out across multiple geographical regions
  • Consolidating and clarifying design requirements
  • Making key technical decisions and resolving technical issues
  • Driving the resolution of product bugs and generation of failure analysis reports
  • Leading resources and schedules associated with the design and verification of technical requirements
  • Preparing status reports and technical presentations
  • Leading all aspects of change management
  • Driving and leading the generation of documentation, as well as coordinating design reviews

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Experience supervising or leading product design and development engineers
  • Familiarity with programming languages such a Python, C or C++
  • Experience working with embedded systems
  • A good understanding of CMOS devices and circuits
  • Familiarity with NAND Flash technology, operation, and issues
  • Knowledge of storage interface specifications such as eMMC, UFS, PCIe, SATA, or SAS
  • Familiarity with mobile products, operating systems, and applications
  • Experience using high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision making and analytical skills
  • The ability to clearly communicate and document technical information
  • Ability to manage sophisticated schedules

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering but Master degree preferred
