As a Device Integration Engineer in the Fab 4 R&D at Micron, you will be part of a team working on the development of next generation CMOS devices employed in the most ground breaking Memory and Compute in Memory products. You will be responsible of developing novel CMOS solutions for the future generations of DRAM and emerging memories necessary to meet the required array efficiency and data rate requirements as well as the product cadence timelines.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Contribute/drive the device technology development of state-of-the-art CMOS providing solutions that are compatible with the memory architecture
  • Perform electrical characterization of CMOS devices and CMOS circuits to identify device improvement directions.
  • Contribute to the fundamental understanding of the CMOS technology and its impact on overall product figures of merit
  • Collaborate with Design, TCAD and modelling groups
  • In general, a strong collaboration is required with product, probe, reliability, process, characterization, layout engineers and others

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Semiconductor industry experience is required
  • A strong understanding of semiconductor devices, processes and characterization techniques is required
  • A deep understanding and experience with high performance logic technologies (14nm and beyond) is preferred
  • Hands on experience with data analysis, device characterization and process integration is essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven planning and reporting skills are required
