The Salesforce Operations Analyst will lead the ongoing development of our salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Operations Analyst will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter authorities to identify develop and deploy new business processes including: Sales, Marketing, Customer process areas. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce.com analyst. The Salesforce Operations Analyst will be responsible for the operational stability and data integrity of our CRM platform.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support Outside Sales, Inside Sales, Field Applications Engineers, Customer Success, Operations and other teams as required
  • Ensure operational stability and best practices for supported systems, processes and tools including Salesforce and various tools utilized by our customers
  • Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts and notifications, email templates, triggers and workflows, process builder, reports, views and dashboards
  • Create and update training materials, develop and conduct training sessions and ongoing webinars for both new hires as well as continual education
  • Update users, maintain user hierarchy rules, roles, permission sets, and profiles to ensure system security
  • Provide end-user support for Salesforce.com environment
  • Play a key role in strategic company initiatives, providing expert impact and gap analysis during requirements gathering, solution design and testing phases
  • Translate business requirements into best in class and scalable solutions
  • Partner with IT and consultant relationships
  • Manage work assignments/priorities, setting expectations for quality and timelines
  • Participate in tools and vendor selection as required
  • Build and run Sales governance processes
  • Perform quality reviews of designs and delivered solutions for both internal and partner resources
  • Assist in improving data quality and integrity as well as defining a data management strategy
  • Provide subject matter expertise on reporting and analytics
  • Confirmed experience in helping formulate global application strategies

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience delivering Salesforce.com administrative and declarative development solutions
  • Experience handling all aspects of CRM (Account, Contacts, Opportunity Management, Account Planning, Forecasting, Reporting)
  • Proficient in the use of Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench and Excel to support data analysis and quality initiatives
  • Certified Salesforce.com Administrator required
  • Extensive experience understanding business processes and needs with strong ability to translate business requirements into solid, best in class technical solutions
  • Experience with Lightning Experience is helpful
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize work according to business needs and independently manage tasks to completion
