Reticle Coordinator Engineer

As a Reticle Coordinator in Micron Technology’s Tapeout team, you will manage projects for the creation of photo masks from design definition through reticle delivery.  Working in Micron’s Technology Development department, the Reticle Coordinator manages projects to facilitate the tapeout of masks working cross-functionally with Design, Process Integration, OPC, Scribe, Modeling, Lithography, Tapout Operations, Mask Shop and Fab.

 

The successful candidate will have the foundation to develop technical semiconductor knowledge and project management.  This role is driven by quality time to market of Micron products supporting Technology Development and Manufacturing.  

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop project plans to expedite reticle delivery
  • Understand layout, process and mask change requests
  • Define and document reticle requirements   
  • Drive problems to resolution; identify and manage risks
  • Facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders
  • Develop specs for efficient reticle workflow automation
  • Document and report issues to related groups or collaboration site for future improvement
  • Collaborate with each site’s Reticle Coordinators and mask engineers.
     

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Proven track record in people and project management
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • The ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills
  • Layout viewer (i.e. K2View) experience; DF2 database layout experience is ideal
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing technologies (basic CMOS understanding is desirable)
  • Basic understanding of lithography and photo masks
  • Basic understanding and skill of computer technologies (For identifying software trouble of reticle management tools)
  • Basic understanding of international communication and culture differences between US, Japan and other overseas
  • Effective English communication skills: oral and written (equivalent TOEIC score of >630 or CEFR level of >B1)  
  • Project Management Certification or equivalent experience is desirable
  • Semiconductor or similar industry experience is desired
     

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in EE, Physics, or related science discipline
