As a Risk Analyst in the Technology Development (TD) department at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be vital contributor that actively identifies ways to facilitate secure teamwork and advance intellectual property protections through accelerated design cycles. Embedded in a worldwide incubator for innovation, you’ll be directly collaborating with critical processes, leading-edge tools and top engineers in next generation memory innovation. In this role you’ll analyze risk, resolve approaches that strengthen intellectual property confidentiality, integrity, and availability controls, and lead improvements with multi-functional teams. Engagement directly with information owners and enterprise IT provides a rare perspective on critical control points and mechanisms for monitoring against baselines and benchmarks to better prioritize recommended improvements that meet risk appetite.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:


Advance Safeguards

  • Advance solutions to the sweet spot of operational productivity and intellectual property protection
  • Collaborate with information and process owners to align proposed risk mitigations to their risk appetite
  • Rapidly gain specific process knowledge to better identify incremental improvements and balanced approaches
  • Follow and improve upon an established Risk Analysis and Risk Management processes, including how to handle Service Provider and Third-Party risk processes
  • Align and oversee efforts with technology transfer groups, IT Security Operations, IT Enterprise Information Security, Enterprise Content and Teamwork especially for change management of new or significantly changed controls
  • Participate in enterprise data loss prevention and security incident management processes as an advocate and enabler for TD users, information and critical processes
  • Operationalize, streamline and automate procedures for efficiency and consistency
  • Serve as an internal authority and coordinator for internal and external audit teams on internal, industry and regulatory compliance audits


Minimum Qualifications:


3 years of experience in any of the following:

  • Broad knowledge in analyzing and applying information security, risk management and privacy practices or policies
  • IT role, including interactions with senior leadership and business liaison
  • Strategy definition or program management experience
  • Threat, vulnerability, business continuity and risk assessment experience preferred
  • Knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cyber Security Framework


Preferred Skills:


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field of study.
