As a Non-Volatile Product Engineer in Validation and Characterization you will define, design, and write the software and hardware used to characterize and validate Micron’s next generation NAND designs. With these tools you will analyze and debug new NAND silicon and help various teams understand how the parts work and function. You will then correct problems found and continuously improve the quality a reliability of Micron’s NAND designs.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Developing NAND validation and characterization programs and using those programs to debug advanced NAND designs and features.
  • Analyzing large data sets on NAND characteristics, proving design margin and functionality.
  • Validating and qualifying the NAND functions according to the data sheet specification and in customer’s designs and systems.
  • Coordinating with global design and product teams for volume data collection and analysis.
  • Assisting NAND design bring up, validation, reticle experiments, and firmware changes.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of modern programming languages such as C++ and Python.
  • Good failure analysis, problem solving, and debug techniques.
  • Working knowledge of the following:
  • Bench test equipment (O-Scope, Logic Analyzers)
  • CMOS device testing methods
  • MS Visual Studio
  • Database tools such as Tableau, Hadoop, SQL, Jump, etc.
  • Effective oral and written communication with good analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Confirmed ability to work well with peers and collaborate effectively in a team environment

 

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
