NAND Cell Engineer

As a NAND Cell Engineer in the Device Technology Development group at Micron Technology Inc., you will be responsible for developing next generation innovative NAND cell technologies to achieve required performance and reliability within the project timelines

 

This position is open for both fresh M.S/Ph.D graduates and experienced candidates.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop an understanding of process and device requirements for new NAND cell and help refine requirements, as necessary.
  • Characterize NAND array and model cell device properties to identify improvement opportunities (product bias setting, process integration, design waveform, etc).
  • Contribute to the NAND cell material and process flow definition, particularly in the area of device physics and array analysis.
  • Contribute to the definition and validation of the cell electrical specifications for product qualification.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, design & process integration engineers, to address cell deficiencies and execute improvement roadmaps.
  • Provide project status updates to the team and management at a regular cadence.

 

Qualifications:

·       Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • M.S and / or Ph.D. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Chemical, Physics or Materials Science Engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of semiconductor device physics and processes.
  • In-depth understanding of statistics and experience with data analysis/visualization tools.
  • Solid communication and reporting abilities.
  • Direct experience with flash memories is preferred (NAND or NOR).
  • Good coding & scripting skill set is preferred (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Perl, C / C++, etc…).
