In this role, you will lead the Wet Process DRAM Memory team, and direct efforts for developing relevant clean, etch and drying solutions and addressing defectivity challenges for Micron's DRAM memory products.  You will develop new chemistry and hardware in partnership with suppliers to meet unique needs of DRAM. You will also coordinate the transfer of wet technology and tooling to manufacturing sites. 

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Manage efforts and set the strategy for developing wet process technology for the assigned part types in Fab 4 (Pilot Fab)
  • Work closely with process integration and wet management to regularly align on project priorities and manage project load for your team members.
  • Foster solid partnership with manufacturing fabs to have mutually agreed alignment strategy and development roadmap for future nodes.
  • Proactively resolve yield and defect issues impacted by wet processes.
  • Drive continuous process and productivity improvements by engaging actively with equipment suppliers, Manufacturing development engineering (MDE) and with equipment development team.
  • Manage the wet process contingency list and MOR and provide timely visibility to the receiving fabs for new equipment and upgrades.
  • Engage with manufacturing sites, transfer team, manufacturing integration and central teams to provide technical direction and maintain alignment between production and R&D.
  • Partner with the wet process manufacturing development engineering team to meet Fab 4 product quality and cycle time goals.
  • Interact with equipment and chemical suppliers to ensure alignment and timely progress on our roadmaps, as well as foster a productive relationship.
  • Provide regular feedback to your team members on their performance, provide mentorship and develop a career plan to support their professional development.
  • Set and communicate performance and IPP goals for the team, conduct goal based performance reviews for all team members.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in wet process development, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in your career.
  • Thorough knowledge of process flows for memory products.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team through solid management principles and practices.
  • Ability to effectively manage numerous projects and build relationships with key customers.

 

Education: 

M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry, or equivalent.
