Intern- Silicon Supply Planner

As an intern – Silicon Supply Planner at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of Silicon Supply Planning group in the Global Supply Chain department and will be responsible to compute and analyze sellable bits plan based on supply plan of record and provide die mix plan based on demand. Work across cross functional groups to conduct multiple supply and demand scenarios, including operations modeling and capacity constraints. You will be expected to have good understanding of Fab manufacturing processes and have strong analytical, collaboration and creatively solve complex problems.

 

Constrain demand based on fab boundary conditions and drive die mix based on demand

  • Understand and analyze the daily supply planning system’s output
  • Prepare a tool to enable visibility to projected Stock/Inv Targets/proposed Change in plan and its impact

 

Maintain or Utilize Global Supply Chain Planning Systems, Processes, and Applications

  • Utilize applicable supply planning, SAP, PDM and S&OP systems.
  • Emphasis on daily supply planning system run and ensure accuracy of the fab Supply inputs
  • Continue to drive improvements to process, systems and data.

 

Education Preferences:

  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering. Masters degree is preferred
  • Basic Supply Chain and IE knowledge like Safety Stock Strategies, Production Planning, Data Analysis, Optimization
  • Strong analytical, technical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Goal-oriented, results-driven and intellectually curious
