Enjoy the challenging, fast-paced environment at Micron Technology through an internship focused on driving worldwide Sales performance enhancements.  Micron’s sales teams span the globe and as an intern you will interface with, and learn the cultures of these global operations.


At Micron, a global semiconductor company, you will learn sales processes and systems across the following functions:  Pre-Sales, Sales, and Post sales activities. You will get exposure to Sales and Operations Planning, Forecasting, and Demand Management processes. This experience will provide opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally to not only influence within the sales team, but also across Micron’s Value Chain.


Whatever your preference, an internship at Micron will provide an experience of a lifetime; both professionally and personally. We are looking for interns that can communicate well, are problem solvers, resourceful, critical thinkers, and possess strong organizational skills.


This intern position will be based at Micron’s headquarters located in Boise, Idaho.


Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Utilize academic best practices to improve our current processes and help Micron delight our customers
  • Develop an understanding of Micron’s Sales processes and roles through business process analysis
  • Collaborate with the sales and extended value chain partners through root cause analysis and evaluation of existing processes
  • Provide recommendations and proposals to Sales Leaders on suggested improvements and/or efficiencies
  • Be a project team member on a project of substantial impact to Micron



Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • The ability to work in Boise, Idaho for the summer
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with using metrics and process analysis techniques to measure work
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • The ability to work within and across teams
