As a NVMQRA (Non-Volatile Memory Quality Reliability Assurance) Software Development Intern Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be a member of a worldwide team driving product quality and reliability for Micron’s leading edge SSD portfolio.  Responsibilities include developing test and automation programs used for automated SSD testing.  In this role you will utilize and develop tools, generate scripts, or write code to collect and report data to various groups.

In this role your responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to the following:

• Generate scripts for data analysis using Perl, C++, Python, HTML, CGI, or Java

• Create new Reliability test plans

• Develop product reliability tests to assess new SSD failure mechanisms

• Design new data extraction tools

• Develop new test or reliability code

Ideal candidates for this internship will have:

• Coursework in Computer Architecture,  VLSI/FPGA design, CMOS design/circuits, Semiconductor materials, Object-Oriented programming

• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams or with minimal supervision

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good multitasking and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Familiarity with Perl, C++, Python, HTML, CGI, or Java a plus

Education:

Pursuing B.S. or M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
