Intern - Quality Reliability Assurance DRAM Engineer

As a QRA (Quality Reliability Assurance) DRAM Intern Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc.,you will be a member of a worldwide team driving product quality and reliability for Micron’s leading edge DRAM portfolio.  Responsibilities include developing product quality and reliability analysis methods and tools to assess new DRAM failure mechanisms.  In this role you will utilize and develop tools, generate scripts, or write code to analyze failures and reliability data and communicate results and corrective actions to various engineering groups.

 

In this role your responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to the following:

• Identify issues utilizing knowledge of DRAM architecture (structure and function), semiconductor

processes, test methodologies, software, etc.

• Generate scripts for data analysis using Perl, C++, Python, HTML, CGI, or Java

• Create new Reliability test methodologies

• Determine failure mode or device degradation types

• Comprehend new DRAM processes/technologies for product reliability issues

• Develop product reliability tests to assess new DRAM failure mechanisms

• Design new data extraction tools

• Develop new test or reliability code

 

Ideal candidates for this internship will have:

• Coursework in Micro-electronics circuits, VLSI, CMOS design/circuits, Semiconductor materials,

processes, and manufacturing, or related fields.

• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams or with minimal supervision

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good multitasking and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Familiarity with Perl, C++, Python, HTML, CGI, or Java a plus

 

Education:

Pursuing B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field. Graduation date should not be prior to December 2021.
