Intern- IT Finance Audit

Micron’s Internal Audit team, located in Boise, Idaho is offering a paid student internship during the 2020 summer. The internship program will immerse you in the high-tech semiconductor industry working with Finance high-performing teams to drive meaningful change in our organization. Through this internship, you will continue to expand your capabilities while being challenged with rigorous work and with the opportunity to grow your network. Your work will include a defined project directly supporting the organization’s key initiatives. The Internal Audit team has prepared for you a project with defined objectives and an assigned mentor. You will receive feedback on your performance and will have a chance to showcase your project through a final presentation to the Finance leaders.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley IT compliance testing
  • Assist on audits of technology systems and processes
  • Recommend ideas for more effective and efficient IT and audit processes
  • Create innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Collaborate and build partnerships in IT and Finance
  • Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
  • Learn how to work as part of the Risk Advisory Services team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company
  • Substantiate results on assigned project through presentations and written reports

 

Qualifications:

• Must be actively pursuing an undergraduate level or master’s course of study with emphasis in Finance, Engineering, Statistics or Accounting, Information Technology 

• Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment

• A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

• Position is expected to be approximately 40 hours per week

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship
