Intern - Global Workplace Analyst

In this role, you will collaborate with experienced members of the Global Real Estate and Workplace team in setting global strategies and design direction.  You will perform data analytics and use that data to inform decision making and to lay the foundation for developing future roadmaps for deployment.  You will analyze potential projects, help craft business cases in support of the advancement of workplace design, and perform risk and cost benefit analysis as our team makes decisions during ongoing projects.  In short, you will help support the workplace of the future at Micron.



Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Availability to serve as an intern for a minimum of at least 90 days during the months of May-August 2021
  • A passion for Workplace and design
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Presentation skills necessary to professionally represent Micron within the supplier community
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to contribute to workplace trend analysis to assist in strategy development
  • Collect, analyze, and benchmarks and occupancy costs overall
  • Prepare written materials for presentations and business memorandums
  • Compile and manage workplace date and facilities files
  • Prepares presentations and participates in meetings with the design team.
  • Work independently and with design and construction teams on key projects
  • Generate weekly performance reports for partners in Microsoft Excel
  • Assist with other analytics projects as needed


Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong graphic, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in Revit (including modeling and documentation) and AutoCAD a plus



Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with a focus in Business, Design, Psychology, anthropology, or a related field
