The internship program in the Research and Development (R&D) Finance Department is a rotation program where you will be providing support across multiple functions, including Technology Development and Product Engineering. R&D Finance serves as business partners to these key operational areas by providing financial analysis, budgeting and reporting services to senior leadership of these groups, in addition to Business Unit partners and Finance leadership.

 

As an intern on the R&D Finance team, you will have the opportunity to support technology and product development functions at a global leader in semiconductor solutions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with R&D teams to understand resource capability and program allocation.
  • Expense budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support Business Units and Finance Leadership with inputs to enable effective decision making.
  • Allocation of R&D and production support resources and costs to end products.
  • Support of ad hoc analysis and projects.

 

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Outstanding team player and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to follow broad instructions, work with minimal supervision, prioritize and multi-task effectively, and be diligent and eager to learn.
  • Interest in Financial Analysis as a possible career.

 

Education:

  • Working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
