Intern - DRAM Process Integration

As a DRAM Process Integration Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will use your specialized knowledge of designing and manufacturing semiconductor memory devices (“chips”) to carry out your responsibilities. Your primary responsibility will be contributing to the Technology Development for the next generation and current generation DRAM nodes. You will be working as technical contributor by developing process modules or integration sequences, execute and coordinate effective actions to enable the project to hit key milestones and timelines. You will capitalize on your understanding of semiconductor device physics, as well as semiconductor process and integration. You will assist in develop and integrate a module for a new DRAM generation from early development, through transfer, and until manufacturing introduction. Lead module integration or yield enhancement projects to evaluate and implement key innovations as well as address key detractors.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  •  Interns will be required to finish all required safety training and conducting all work in accordance with Micron safety policies.
  • Innovate, develop, maintain and improve one or more process modules; including design rules, analyzing structural and electrical specifications, as well as help to develop and document alternative integration flows. Optimize existing process flows and help develop creative solutions to meet product requirements.
  • Electrical characterization of the devices, analyzing the data and propose empirical models.
  • Extract, monitor, analyze, and react to inline data, module metrics, param data and probe data.
  • Summarize complex problems, derive, explain actions taken to address them and drive team to execute

 

Qualifications:

  •  A strong interest in Semiconductor Device Physics, Device Characterization, Device Reliability, Semiconductor Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or an education background in semiconductor fabrication with a strong electrical background.
  • Highly Motivated and should have excellent analytical skills. Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and drive complex projects.
  • A strong desire to work in and with Highly Functioning teams with varied strengths and skills. Collaboration skills and thrive in dynamic environments
  • Enjoys complex problems and loves to be challenged. Advanced data extraction, data analysis, and reporting skills

 

Education Requirements:

We are looking for interns who are working towards an MS/PHD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, Materials Science, etc.

Graduation date should not be prior to September 1, 2021
