Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Process U.S. Customs entries
  • Assist with the payment of duties and taxes to the United States Customs and Border Protection
  • Assist on strategic initiatives including drawback filing, CTPAT Trade Compliance, and other programs
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of all regulations, quotas, tariffs, and procedures for US Customs, FDA, USDA and Other Government Agencies for the import processes of our products.
  • Requesting and auditing all required documents for imports.
  • Assigning proper harmonized tariff codes and export control classification numbers to all products.
  • Consult enterprise systems and internal databases to ensure accurate reporting of value, quantity, and description to U.S. Customs
  • Maintaining applicable trade compliance records in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with implementing new strategies which streamline processes and reduce cost and risk.
  • Assist with Micron’s U.S. Custom’s Reconciliation program
  • Respond to routine requests from government agencies
  • Gather logistics entry information and back up documentation (for example, purchase orders, payment, receipts)
  • Prepare and analyze internal audit reports
  • Resolve errors identified in reports
  • Collaborate with transportation to ensure timely delivery of freight forwarder shipments

Your Qualifications include, but not limited to:

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will require solid written and verbal communication skills to maintain efficient and positive relationships with government agencies and internal customers.
