As a key member of Micron’s Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for managing and performing assurance and advisory projects to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, improve IT operations, protect company assets and shareholder value, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations. You will gain a broad perspective by working on a variety of assignments across a global organization to analyze issues, make well-reasoned recommendations, solve problems and supervise and mentor less experienced team members. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

 

In this important position with a global scope, you will:

 

  • Plan, execute and prepare draft reports of audits of the company’s technology infrastructure, applications, IT processes and cyber security capabilities 

  • Collaborate with business and technology project teams to provide risk and control advice 

  • Facilitate and encourage the use of technology for conducting audits and managing the department 

  • Use your professional judgment and expertise to recommend IT process improvements to reduce risk exposure to Microns risk tolerance levels 

  • Effectively and succinctly communicate project results and recommendations in written reports intended for executive management 

  • Exhibit leadership qualities by providing solutions to problems observed within the Company 

  • Build and nurture an effective and collaborative working relationship with management, internal audit team members and other key partners  

 

Education

 

Bachelor’s degree in (Required)

  • Computer Information Systems, Accounting or equivalent
  • CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA preferred

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • 7 year's experience in Auditing or consulting services for a multinational company in either internal role or as a member of a public accounting or advisory services firm.
  • A demonstrated understanding of information security, cybersecurity, and information technology processes
  • Project management and organization skills, including attention to detail
  • Knowledge of internal audit standards (IPPF), COSO framework, and Information Security and Control frameworks
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • You are ambitious, focused, dedicated and a self-starter with business insight
  • Up to 30% travel required
