As a Facilities HVAC/R Operations TAB Coordinator at Micron Technology, Inc., you would be responsible for working in a team environment with other fields to service, maintain, respond to and resolve Air Balance concerns for the Boise sites and Fabrication areas.  

You would be responsible to perform and enter monthly and quarterly system capacity readings, balance newly installed and existing Fab tools, investigate and resolve routine trouble calls, and air balancing for various areas inside and outside of the Fab. This position requires broad experience with, and extensive knowledge of, all facilities equipment, systems, and operations. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate monitoring, sensing, and trending programs for functionality, reliability, and accuracy.  

  • Provide training and assistance to team members within the group as well as those from other groups. 

  • Coordinate problem resolution efforts utilizing available resources. 

  • Partners with key stakeholders to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metrics 

  • Collaborates with global teams and partners to resolve equipment/process issues and maximize system stability 

  • Identifies and evaluates interactions between equipment and processes and resolve potential problems 

  • Uses administrative and engineering databases in support of job tracking, engineering data, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads and capacities 

  • Function as liaison between Engineering, SCADA, and Operations to establish initial sequence of operations and operating parameters for facilities equipment. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills 

  • Intermediate PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MICAP, Ariba, and FMS 

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency 

  • Proven ability to communicate and present technical information effectively to all audiences 

  • Strong understanding of data extraction, data analysis and reporting methodologies 

  • Ability to become certified in CPR 

  • Ability to use Shortridge equipment 

  • Ability to use Alnor Hydronic equipment 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Required: Minimum – AAS or Journeyman License 

  • Preferred: BS in Mechanical Engineering 

  • Preferred: Five or more years of experience in Clean Room TAB related work
