The Micron Technology IT Engineering Software team is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support Back End Engineering. As a Full-Stack Software Developer, you will work with our team of developers, product owners, and users in an agile environment, delivering applications for supporting data analytics, yield enhancement and correlation analysis. The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of Software Development technologies, Microservices Architecture, and Agile development processes. In this role, you’ll be expected to come up with highly creative solutions and be passionate about the user experience. You will be working in a dynamic, iterative environment with the stability of working for a global, established and competitive technology company.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Define, implement, and manage full stack solutions to meet Micron’s Engineering IT needs
  • Be a key contributor to the creation of a long-term, scalable architecture
  • Collaborate with other IT Software Development teams to develop a robust reporting infrastructure
  • Support legacy applications as we transition to Microservices and our Full Stack Architecture
  • Demonstrate Micron core values of people, innovation, tenacity, collaboration, and customer focus
  • Actively participate in long-range strategy planning to identify and address complex business issues
  • Act as a change agent, seeking opportunities to challenge the status quo to meet business objectives
  • Ensure solution releases meet the highest standard in terms of end user experience and performance. Focus on quality as the core of user experience
  • Bring a strong technical foundation; able to engage the team on architecture and design
  • Keep up with the latest industry research to ensure we are appropriately bringing to bear new technologies while aligning with internal standards


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven work experience in Java, Spring Integrations and Rest API
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate with engineering teams at scale across multiple geographies
  • Proven ability in developing, deploying and monitoring Restful web services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a drive to deliver solutions that meet or exceed partner expectations
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and how to instill an Agile mindset
  • Experience with relational databases, data modeling and ORM technologies
  • Experience in Angular or React JS framework
  • Deep knowledge of Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
  • Knowledge of product development tools (JIRA, Confluence, Netbeans, Java desired)
  • Knowledge of Linux environment, utilities, and scripting languages desired
  • Working experience and knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible)
  • Practical experience with Microservices
