We are looking for Facilities Operations Coordinator to coordinate Operations and Maintenance activities to ensure there is no impact to site or manufacturing operations, while maintaining environmental and safety excellence for a state-of-the-art semiconductor FAB.  The successful candidate will maintain awareness and anticipate any potential operational or utilities issues that would have a negative impact on normal plant operations. The work environment is primarily indoors and clean.  This position gives you the opportunity to expand and develop your skills as you use a leading-edge maintenance program.

  • Complete all required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies
  • Coordinate the installation of new utilities and systems
  • Perform assessments of new construction to prevent negative impacts to normal facilities operations and manufacturing areas
  • Assist with projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget
  • Review designs as assigned to ensure they are within manufacturer’s and company guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are met
  • Provide a high level of service with strong customer focus and build effective relationships with supported teams
  • Proactively identify opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environment
  • Proactively communicate issues that could cause Fab impact, defects, tool restrictions, or lost moves



Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Advanced PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid time management and prioritization skills
  • A strong technical competence in a diverse range of fields used by the facilities groups
  • Strong skills needed to partner, negotiate, and coordinate efforts across a variety of disciplines
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects and enjoy working in a fast pace environment
  • Proven ability to interpret blueprints and other construction documents
  • Proven ability to communicate the relationship between use and design characteristics of all facilities equipment in areas that may be affected by maintenance, operation and/or construction activities
  • The ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, follow complex procedures, and work with minimal supervision


  Education and Experience: 

  • Minimum – Relevant degree or appropriate certification/licensing
  • Preferred – Associate’s or bachelor’s degree; Five years of facilities field experience
