As the Director of Product Reliability at Micron, you will be responsible for the designed in reliability (DIR) of DRAM and Emerging Memory circuit and layout implementations. This includes close collaboration with the Technology Development Team to develop device degradation or lifetime models, including margin to process variation. The aligned summary of device requirements and related product use conditions will be maintained in a Reliability SPEC (RSPEC) in partnership with the TD team. Responsibilities also included defining degraded device modeling requirements and simulation conditions to cover worst case use conditions. The Product Reliability team will work with Product Engineering and Global Quality teams to define product level reliability stress conditions and acceptable timing shifts for key circuits.



  • Deliver Reliability Models for device aging vs stress conditions
  • Responsible for Degraded Device model quality
  • Own and partner with Technology Development / R&D to define required circuit degradation margins
  • Drive efforts toward efficient reliability optimized circuit and layout solutions with scaling roadmap
  • Ultimately responsible for designed in reliability for all DRAM and EM products



  • 10 years’ Industry Experience
  • 5 years’ experience leading Device level stress characterization or modeling teams, and working with multi-functional teams to pursue complex multi-discipline problems
  • Experience with transistor level CMOS reliability mechanisms including CHC, NBTI, CHISEL, HEIP
  • Knowledge of CMOS compact modeling including device aging and degraded device modeling
  • Experience with Reliability requirements target setting and circuit optimization against requirements



Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
