The Director of North America and EMEA Talent Acquisition at Micron reports to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition & Mobility. In this role, you will be responsible for setting direction, delivering and executing regional recruiting strategies. The scope of this role includes: talent sourcing, selection and offers, talent branding, university relations and executive recruitment. This role can be based in Boise, ID or San Jose, CA.
This role requires excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of the organization. As the ideal candidate, you can achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. You are proactive and have a solid team ethic and work effectively in a cross-functional environment. You coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and lead multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Develop and execute regional strategies that identify and acquire diverse top talent enabling Micron business growth, vision and mission.
- Build and develop a high performing and engaged team that effectively designs, implements and delivery the regional strategies
- Lead global Diversity and Inclusion recruiting strategies, partnering with the D&I team and global TA regional leaders.
- Partner with business executives, leaders, and all areas of HR to understand business needs, grow talent pipelines, and source for key positions within the company in the present, and in the future
- Ensure performance metrics are aligned with objectives, utilized strategically, and communicated effectively
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in staffing, recruiting strategy, process and execution, preferably in a global environment
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills which maintain high performance and develop future talent
- Experience building rapport and interacting with key stakeholders and internal and external partners
- Data driven capability – ability to use appropriate metrics that influence and drive decisions
- Demonstrable ability to improve efficiency, scalability and customer experience
- Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment requiring innovation and adapting to a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a global technology firm, preferably in electronics manufacturing, storage or memory
- Experience in college recruiting, intern programs and university relations
- Experience with corporate executive recruiting including in house sourcing and selection and third party vendor management
- Innovative, goal-oriented, and a collaborative colleague
